Less than zero

As many of you know, Jim Rome is sports yap's equivalent of Michael Savage. A guy who thinks he's relevant and is loud and hysterical, but almost never coherent. Additionally, Rome hates soccer... or at least pretends to. With these lame entertainers, you never know what are their real beliefs and what's schtick done just for ratings. This is why shock jocks are boring.

Anyway, the best part about European Champions League soccer airing on ESPN2 is that pre-empts Rome's show.

So ESPN execs feel that his show deserves even less prominence than something Rome claims no one here cares about.

I wonder how Jimmy feels about his show being less than worthless.

I don't have too much use for talking yaps either, be it for sports or politics. But I just don't watch the show or network. I think you have a weakness for these sorta shows. ;)

I don't watch any sports talk shows. And I avoid ESPN like the plague unless soccer's on.

You could have included this in your "ADD" article, considering the idiots on ESPN don't seem to be able to follow a sport you actually have to watch for more than 5 seconds to appreciate. I swear those anchors have never actually watched a full game, just highlights that you can add some cleverly annoying catch phrase to. Great display by Liverpool against Real though. Torres and Gerrard: best players in Europe.

By the way, I object to the Michael Savage insult you slid in. Only a MORE Savage Nation will survive.

I think soccer fans abandoned all hope in Sportscenter and their yap shows many years ago. Thank goodness for the internet and Fox Soccer Channel!

I don't know how local you are to Albany, but that's where I live and I can't wait for this new biergarten to open. The owners are big soccer fans apparently and will have it on constantly.
